Your second to last paragraph says it all. “They do not understand the meaning of bravery…”

Erica Thiel says it all: “BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN”

  4. Bea says:

As a runner, I was following the marathon cheering my friends but also in awe that folks would run for people with rare diseases like my son. I was devastated when the bombs went off & thankful that the team was safe. You are right. The bombers don’t know the meaning if bravery or courage. Nor do they know the one of hope which the Genzyme team gave to so many of us fighting rare diseases whether for ourselves or loved ones. Thank you. In my eyes, you all are so much more than winners or finishers.
